Shenyang Imperial Palace

One of the best preserved imperial palaces in the country next only to the Palace Museum in Beijing, the Shenyang Imperial Palace was built in 1625 for Nurhachi (1559 - 1626) and Huangtaiji (1592 - 1643), two founding emperors of the pre-Qing Dynasty period.

The former imperial residence embodies a harmonious blending of the Han, Mongol, and Manchu architectural styles.

Zhaoling Tomb

Zhaoling is the tomb of Qing Dynasty founder, Huangtaiji, and his wife and concubines.
