Hangzhou, capital of Zhejiang Province with rich natural
resources, has two major state-level scenic areas, namely,

for fans, silk umbrellas, lotus root starch, and water shield.

in by mountains on three sides. It covers an area of 5.6 square
kilometers and consists of three isles.

Liuhe Pagoda, or the Pagoda of Six Harmonies, stands on
Mt. Yuelun on the northern bank of the Qiantang River. Built
in 970 in the Song Dynasty, the 13-storied pagoda was rebuilt
with bricks in 1153 in the Southern Song Dynasty.

Grown in mountains around the West Lake, Longjing Tea has
a history of 1,200 years. It is green in color and tastes
rich and fresh.

15 kinds of silk products, such as silk, satin, damask, and

Wu Zhen

Located in the north of Zhejiang Province, Wu Zhen is embraced
by the Beijing - Hangzhou Grand Canal with rivers and canals
crisscrossing the whole town. For hundreds of years, its residents
have been building houses along the rivers. The ancient docks,
waterside pavilions, and corridors stretch out for miles and
make a romantic atmosphere that is typical to Jiang Nan water
towns. If boating around the water network, or lingering in
the lanes one can always feel the serenity, peacefulness and
subtle beauty of the Jiang Nan water towns.
